LaserWell Plus Continuous High Volume: FAQs

Following is a list of the most commonly asked questions regarding LaserWell Plus laser printable membership identification cards. 

Q. What is LaserWell Plus?

A. LaserWell Plus membership identification card documents are a combination of materials providing the ultimate solution for desktop laser printers. The patented LaserWell Plus construction affixes a unique toner receptive card to laser compatible documents. LaserWell Plus is designed for high speed laser printing and publishing systems and is available for cut sheet and continuous printers.

Q. How flexible can my customer be in card placement on the LaserWell Plus form?

A. While most of our customers use standard LaserWell Plus Continuous formats, custom card positioning is available provided the card is affixed no closer than 1/2 inch from the edge. However, all formats must be tested to insure compatibility between particular laser printer and LaserWell Plus format.

Q. What is the maximum number of cards that can be affixed to a single LaserWell form?

A. LaserWell Plus membership identification cards can be configured with one, two, three, or six cards. Six up being the maximum. .

Q. Can both sides of the LaserWell Plus card and form be printed prior to affixing?

A. Yes, preprinting is available on the front and back of both the card and the form.

Q. Can both the front and backside of the LaserWell Plus card and form be imaged after affixing?

A. Yes, utilizing the WindoWell™ version of LaserWell Plus allows customers to duplex laser print both the form and the card. WindoWell™ documents are available in the 1up and 2up and 3up standard formats.

Q. Is four color processing available for LaserWell Plus products?

A. Yes, line colors and four color processing are available for both LaserWell Plus card and form.

Q. Can a card and a label be affixed to the same LaserWell Plus sheet?

A. Yes, a label may be affixed to the LaserWell Plus document along with a card. However, these special constructions need careful review and testing prior to manufacturing.

Q. How should LaserWell Plus artwork specifications be submitted?

A. Artwork should be submitted in one of the four FormStore approved artwork formats; layout for typesetting, camera ready artwork, IBM or Mac disk or artwork negatives.

Q. Must the finished LaserWell Plus sheet measure 9 1/2 inches by 11 inches or 18 inches by 14 inches?

A. The most popular sizes for LaserWell Plus continuous are 9 1/2 x 11 inches, 9 1/2 x 14 inches, 18 x 11 inches and 18 x 14 inches.  All standard form sizes are available from  14 inch, 17 inch and 22 inch presses.

Q. Is LaserWell Plus available as a rolodex card?

A. At this time, LaserWell Plus is only available as a standard 3 3/8 x 2 1/8 inch card or our special TwinCard size of 3 3/8 x 4 1/4 inch.

Q. What is the typical time between order placement and order delivery?

A. Due to the complexity in the manufacturing of LaserWell Plus, typical order delivery is four weeks after proof approval.

Q. Are shorter delivery schedules available on a premium basis?

A. Yes, rush orders can be accommodated for a premium. 

Q. What is the LaserWell Plus minimum order?

A. The minimum order is 10,000 sheets.
